The PhD in Classical Studies provides advanced training in the field of Classical Antiquity, whether for candidates with prior training in this area of knowledge or for candidates from other disciplines (particularly Modern Literature, History, Philosophy and Law) who wish to investigate aspects related to the worldview of Ancient Cultures (thought, society, politics and culture).

Through open intercultural dialogue, the programme aims to deepen reflection on aesthetic, political, religious and educational paradigms, and the way in which these have shaped identities and interpretations of the world, in a continuous process of cultural enrichment.

CLASSICAL LANGUAGES OFFER (e-learning): intended for students who do not have a certified background in Classical Languages: 2 levels of Greek or Latin (to be chosen from the course offerings in the first cycle of Classical Studies).
