Previous academic background: PhD in Tourism (University of Aveiro); master's degree in Tourism Management and Planning (University of Aveiro); MBA in Marketing (IESF - Atlantic Business School: Institute of Higher Financial and Fiscal Studies); degree in Accounting Audit (Aveiro University); bachelor’s degree in Economics (University Coimbra, Faculty of Economics).

Areas of interest: gastronomy and wine tourism; tourist distribution; cultural and creative tourism.
