Caterina Penterrici
University of Urbino
Caterina Pentericci is a Research Fellow in Classical Philology at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo (Italy) and an Adjunct Lecturer in Latin Paleography. Her research focuses primarily on Latin drama, with particular attention to Plautus, studied through textual criticism, paleography, linguistic and metrical analysis, and dramaturgy. In 2024, she published the critical edition of Plautus’ Truculentus in the Editio Plautina Sarsinatis series.
She was educated at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo (MA) and the University of Trento (PhD), and completed her training with a two-year Diploma in Paleography, Diplomatics, and Archival Studies at the Vatican School of Paleography, Diplomatics, and Archival Science (Vatican City), where she acquired a solid background in paleography and codicology
