2024/2025 Bachelor's and Integrated Master’s Degrees

After finishing their secondary education, students pursue a higher education degree by applying to Bachelor’s or Integrated Master’s Degree Course. The University of Coimbra has its Bachelor's (1st Cycle) and Integrated Master’s Degree Courses (1st and 2nd Integrated Cycles) distributed in eight Faculties. Application to these cycles may be carried out by means of different systems and contests, according to what is presented below.

National Contest of Access and Admission
SPECIAL CONTEST FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS
It enables the students who benefit from the status of international student to access these cycles of studies according to specific conditions.
SYSTEM OF READMISSION
It enables students to enrol and register for the same course (cycle of studies) after having interrupted their studies.
SYSTEM OF CHANGE OF INSTITUTION/COURSE PAIR
It enables a student to change from a course (cycle of studies) to another, whether they are UC students or not.
SPECIAL CONTEST OF ACCESS AND ADMISSION FOR APPLICANTS OVER 23 YEARS OLD
It enables access to higher education of applicants over 23 years old who had a successful assessment in specific exams.
SPECIAL CONTEST OF ACCESS AND ADMISSION FOR HOLDERS OF OTHER HIGHER DEGREE COURSES
It enables holders of other higher degree courses to access a new course (cycle of studies) .
SPECIAL CONTEST OF ACCESS AND ADMISSION TO THE DEGREE IN MEDICINE BY HOLDERS OF A BACHELOR’S DEGREE
Application concerning access to the Degree in Medicine for holders of a Bachelor’s Degree. The contest takes place at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra.
